The centre is Coordinated by Mandy Fitchett who has been working in childcare for 13 years. Mandy has two children of her own and has been a childminder, school governor and teaching assistant working with children with a wide range of additional needs. She has also taught ICT and maths intervention programs. Over the last couple of years she has obtained NVQ3 in childcare, as well as a higher level teaching assistant qualification. She has also recently achieved the National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership, which included a favourable assessment of the centre, it's staff and services. She also reports to the Delivery Board who in turn are responsible for informing the Advisory Board who over-see the 3 children's centres in this area. Mandy's role includes the health and safety of all users of the centre, staffing, services on offer, provision of reports and budgeting. Mandy is the Spangles child protection officer. All the staff have a First aid certificate and Safeguarding training.
