Antenatal Parentcraft group -  Starting 30th January for 4 weeks, run by the Midwives - 9.30–11.30am. Preparation classes for labour and delivery.  Talk to your midwife to book your place. Week number 4 is in the evening from 7:30 - 9:00pm looking at dad's role in those early days.

First Friends baby group 10.00 - 12.00am for babies 0 to12 months and their mums, dads and carers.  Safe activities for your baby and an opportunity for you to make friends and meet people in a relaxed environment.  Childminders are welcome at this group but please no children over 12 months for safety reasons. This class is free but a contribution of 50p would be welcome.

Tiny Talkers - 2.00 - 3.00pm from 16th January to 27th February 2012 (excluding 13th February), at OSCA Hall, Crow Street, Elsenham.  No need to book a place, just come a long with your children aged 1-3 years. Integration Support Services - 10.00am - 12.00 noon.  A fantastic opportunity to play and have fun with your under 5 year old, in a multicultural environment.  Supporting the successful integration of migrants, refugees and other ethnic minorities. Childminders welcome.  This group will not be running on Tuesday 7th and 14th February.

First Time Around? - 11.00–12.00 noon, next session starting on 15th February 2012.
A 6 week programme for the parents of babies around 6 weeks old, run by the Health Visiting team with other speakers. Health Visitors refer parents to this group, or call Spangles to book your place.

Baby Clinic 1.30 - 3.15pm - baby weighing with the Health Team on hand for advice and support.  Stay and have a chat with other parents and staff.

Buffy Bus - at  11.00 - 12.30pm Manuden and 1.30pm - 3.00pm  Walson Way, Forest Hall Park, Stansted.  Lots of fun and activities, stories, rhymes and singing for all children under 5 years, on the Playbus.  Visits by Lesley from Spangles from time to time.  £2.00 donation per family.  Term time only.

Spangles Friends - 09.30 - 11.30am.  Play activities for children under 5, with training opportunities, advice and support on hand for mums, dads and carers.  This group is suitable for young parents and by invitation only, please call Spangles for more details or speak to a member of staff. This group will not be running on Thursday 16th February

Hokey Cokey Club - 09.15 - 11.00am at Farnham School.  A community run baby and toddler group, supported by Spangles.  £2.50 per family under 1's free.Term time only.

Little Friends under 5's - 09.45 - 11.30am in Hatfield Heath Village Hall, term time only, £2.50 per session.  This is a community group that provides safe and appropriate play and learning experiences for young children and their mums, dads, or carers, to participate together.  This group is supported by Lesley from Spangles.

Playtime - 1.30 - 3.00pm. A drop in session for under 5 years, two rooms of play and activities. Snack and drinks for children available.  Childminders welcome.   A contribution of 50p would be very welcome. There will be no playtime session on Thursday 2nd February.

Bosom Buddies - 10.30am - 12.30 pm.  Drop in session for breastfeeding mums and their babies.  This is a social group with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where mums can feed their babies and older siblings can play.  Help and information will be available should you need it and there will be a midwife present to give advice for babies up to 28 days and a health visitor for over 28 days when available.

Birchanger Buddies -1:30 - 3:30pm - Birchanger Village Hall - all year round - £2.00 per session.  A group run by members of the local community for you and your under 5's -  Good practice award achieved, supported by Spangles.
