There is plenty of space at Spangles to play, whether you want to look at books in the quiet area or jump in a wheelie car and race around the sports hall. There are timeslots for new parents, parenting courses and family learning. West Essex Community Midwives are running their ante-natal appointments from the centre and the Health Visitors welcome under 5's and their families for clinic on Wednesday's.  Our popular Playtime session on Thursday afternoon for all under 5's has a variety of toys and activities in two large rooms. Different messy play activities are set up each week and the children's beautiful work can be displayed in the centre or taken home to adorn your walls.  We provide healthy snacks for the children at most of our sessions and encourage all children to develop good table manners and to make snack times a pleasant and sociable experience. A variety of food is normally on offer and once again, is provided free - all we ask for is a donation and some help with the clearing up. For the health and safety of all our users, we ask that, with the exception of baby food, mums, dads and carers do not bring their own food into the centre.

Sessions on offer at Spangles are free of charge and open to all
families with children under 5 years of age.
